Kurt Patat from AOL on American Idol. He disagreed with Simon on round 1 - it should've gone to David Cook. Round 2 was the weakest. What does the future hold for American Idol? Hour 1
Sandy Deane from AOL on American Idol. We're glad Jason's gone and Sandy's not! Was Syesha strong enough to head into the next round? What's up with Simon and Randy? We all agree the contestants need guidance on song choices. David A. looked uncomfortable doing a Chris Brown song, Syesha should've done Madonna's Fever, and what was that song David C. did? Even David A's beautiful take on what Simon called a gooey song couldn't keep David Cook from rocking the night. One week till the finale - which David will win?

Hour 2
Marianne McGinnis from Prevention Magazine. What's the best brain time for different tasks? Yes, there are such things as brain foods. Your brain needs exercise as much as your body does, and laughter is a great way to keep your brain happy. ASIMO directs an orchestra. (Check out Jennifer's interview with ASIMO by going to JenniferSmart.com and clicking the YouTube link.) Smart Cars are cute - and did well in crash tests. Man sues airline for making him sit on the toilet for 3 hours. Polar bears are designated as threatened, and koala bears are getting sick.

Sandy Deane from AOL on American Idol. Brooke going home was just what Sandy predicted. David Cook didn't rock out the way we thought he would given the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame theme (we've been there!). Syesha did a great job, and why was Randy so harsh? Jason just butchered those songs. And David Archuleta's songs continue to sound alike. How is it possible that he's 17 and doesn't know Love Me Tender? Sandy says if Jason doesn't go home this week, she will boycott American Idol! Uncle Paul thinks David A. was the top performer this week, almost provoking a rant from Max, but still wants David C. to win.

Hour 2
Pam Newman, from RPPC, Inc., joins us to talk about moms starting businesses, and what we can do to help. Plus useful gifts for Mother's Day and online resources for anyone starting a business, like jumpup.com. Sandy Deane, television editor from AOL, is back for another American Idol Wednesday. We've also got Julie Estrada from Legoland, and our voices from the past - an hour from the Smart Family Tour last year.

      Hour 1
Sandy Deane from AOL on American Idol. The shock of Carly's demise last week. Sandy was pleased with Neil Diamond, but couldn't we have had more behind the scenes with him? One song would've been enough from Jason. Oh, Paula...?!? David cook has clinched it - he can make ANY song sound like a current hit. Brooke and Syesha had their good points. Sandy thinks Jason or Brooke is going home this week. Uncle Paul agrees with her on that.

Hour 2
Julie Estrada from Legoland joins us to talk about all the new stuff at the park. This is a great first theme park experience for kids from 2 to 12. Check out the new Land of Adventure section, including a laser-shooting ride. The Sea-Life Aquarium will open July 1st, and features lots of interactive educational exhibits that emphasize conservation, and of course tons of Legos! Knights Tournament is a robo-coaster like no other. Bring a change of clothes and your water shoes for Pirate Shores (they have lockers), and don't forget the heart of the park - Miniland - a re-creation of US cities in Legos. Coldplay has a free download for one week, but Radiohead will not do freebies with their next album. Time Warner is splitting off their cable division.

Hour 3
The Smart Family joins David from Vermont (last fall), and David rants about teddy bears.
