Classic TV Icons and New iPhones

Are things like computers and sunscreen helping or hurting us? Should monkeys control robots with their brains? We're not sure about those, but we love our classic TV. Jennifer's got a red carpet report from the TV Land Awards. And we've got the latest on the iPhone (faster, cheaper) and more from Apple's WWDC.

Call 800-39-ONLINE or email radio@onlinetonight.com and we'll address your questions or comments on the air. Don't forget to let us know by email if you want a free Online Tonight bumper sticker, and we'll get you the instructions on how to do that.

Hour 1
Are computers making us stupid? YouTube draws more youngsters online than Disney - scary! Stupid stunts inspired by YouTube don't go unpunished. Disney offers full-length movies online - for a short time. No downturn for Walt Disney Records. Why is Disney buying a newsletter for grownups. The best place to stargaze - not the middle of the street. The latest on robots - from fish-like to humanoid to bug-like. And we don't like it when monkeys have their brains monkeyed with, even if it has something to do with robotics. Men check the laws before you go topless. Are sunscreens harming the environment and drinking water?

Hour 2
New vehicles, from hybrid to hydrogen and even self-driving. Microsoft sells Surface for bar use, patches flaws. Jennifer's red carpet report for the TV Land Awards, with special guest Henry Winkler. (And she loves his Hank Zipzer books!) Max tells a joke. Can you believe the TSA was letting people fly without showing ID?

Hour 3
New speeds for cell (AT&T) and internet (Verizon). Free AT&T WiFi at Starbucks with the purchase of a Starbucks card. T-Mobile's not happy about the Starbucks transition. The FCC looks into early termination fees for cell service. MPAA wants FCC to allow movies on TV sooner - but de-activate DVRs to keep from recording them before they hit DVD. Who knew old VHS tapes could be worth so much - check your garage! Digital TV conversion still confuses some. All the Apple news from this week's WWDC. Buy a Mac, get an iPhone back to school promotion is back.
