Four Idols and Giving Mom Time for Business

Sandy Deane, television editor from AOL, is back for another American Idol Wednesday. And just in time for Mother's Day, we've got Pam Newman, small business consultant, on moms starting businesses.

Want to share your thoughts on American Idol or have a question for Sandy? Call us at 800-39-ONLINE or email radio@onlinetonight.com and we'll address your questions or comments on the air next Wednesday. And of course we also take your tech questions. Don't forget to let us know by email if you want a free Online Tonight bumper sticker, and we'll get you the instructions on how to do that.

Hour 1
Sandy Deane from AOL on American Idol. Brooke going home was just what Sandy predicted. David Cook didn't rock out the way we thought he would given the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame theme (we've been there!). Syesha did a great job, and why was Randy so harsh? Jason just butchered those songs. And David Archuleta's songs continue to sound alike. How is it possible that he's 17 and doesn't know Love Me Tender? Sandy says if Jason doesn't go home this week, she will boycott American Idol! Uncle Paul thinks David A. was the top performer this week, almost provoking a rant from Max, but still wants David C. to win.

Hour 2
Pam Newman, from RPPC, Inc., joins us to talk about moms starting businesses, and what we can do to help. Plus useful gifts for Mother's Day and online resources for anyone starting a business, like jumpup.com. A bionic eagle beak that isn't and a robotic squirrel that Max thinks should be a giant squid. DVDs we're reviewing soon and we finally saw the first Lord of the Rings movie.

Hour 3
The Smart Family joins David from Maine (last fall), with bellies full of lobster.
