Idol 8, the Return of Yoo and Random Tech

The Top 8 get an extra day this week, but we're still here for American Idol Wednesday with Sandy Deane, television editor at AOL. The race is getting tougher to call, but we've got our favorites... And of course Uncle Paul weighs in with his. Richard Yoo is back! He tells us all about Natuba and Jennifer asks a couple of personal questions... We've also got random tech news, so you never know what to expect!

Want to share your thoughts on American Idol or have a question for Sandy? Call us at 800-39-ONLINE or email radio@onlinetonight.com and we'll address your questions or comments on the air next Wednesday. Don't forget to let us know by email if you want a free Online Tonight bumper sticker, and we'll get you the instructions on how to do that.

Hour 1
Sandy Deane from AOL TV joins us to chat about this week's American Idol. Still loving the guys, although David C. was way too smug this week and David A's performance was yawn-provoking. Sandy misses another former Idol in the audience and doesn't want to hear what Paula has to say any more. She's got all gals in her bottom three. Don't forget to take the American Idol poll at tv.aol.com and check out their new Idol Gives Back photo gallery. Uncle Paul says Randy was playing Simon this week, and agrees with Sandy on two of her three.

Hour 2
Don't answer that stapler! Richard Yoo is a Windows power-user even though he works in an office full of Mac users. His new baby, Natuba, developed out of his love of mobile gadgets. It's a fun place to share those photos you take with your cell phone. Max likes to brighten his day by hitting the "Surprise" button. The name Natuba came from a province in Brazil, and the need for a domain name that wasn't taken. We learn an interesting Disney fact about Richard, and why he likes Houston so much.

Hour 3
AMD vs Intel - a new battle. Max explains a processor core.m Remember Iomega? They have a drive with HDMI out. We're checking out the cool Harmony One remote from Logitech. Is Yahoo thinking about merging with AOL? Robotic seal coming to nursing homes in US and Japan thinks about turning elder care over to robots. Soldiers to get handheld lie detectors. A teeny tiny working TV for your dollhouse (www.dollshousetvs.co.uk). Digital frames all the rage for mother's day (no viruses, please!). Paintball sentry. Flickr users up in arms over video. Climate change may affect beer production. Rockband drum pads look like mushrooms. Green news - the clamshell package is FINALLY on the way out - after many consumer injuries - and more people are willing to pay extra to rent a hybrid. SlingCatcher delayed again. Verizon sues Time Warner over implications in ads.
