Family Fun, Germ Prevention and Tech to a Better Burger

Debra Immergut, senior editor at Family Fun Magazine, joins us to talk about the April issue. Marianne McGinnis, west coast editor of Prevention Magazine, tells us just how disgusting our houses can be. We've got another Hour 3 tech news roundup, with a bonus rant from Max about something he thinks isn't environmentally-friendly. Just in time for Earth Day!

We're doing a regular segment with Family Fun Magazine periodically (pun intended), so if you have any questions or suggestions for the editors there, let us know and we'll share them.

Call 800-39-ONLINE or email radio@onlinetonight.com and we'll address your questions or comments on the air. Don't forget to let us know by email if you want a free Online Tonight bumper sticker, and we'll get you the instructions on how to do that.

Hour 1
Debra Immergut from Family Fun Magazine shares their "Our Town" article from the April issue, with lots of cool insider info on three destinations in the US. How to find fun in your own town. What's in Family Fun for Earth Day. You could win a Disney Cruise - go to FamilyFun.com/paradise to enter. Idol gives back moved us to tears and made us open our wallets. Does free streaming make people buy more music? Amazon will give you $50 if you bought an HD DVD player from them, but Wal-Mart will take it back if you bought it within the last six months. What is tactility feedback? New swimsuit helps win races.

Hour 2
Marianne McGinnis from Prevention Magazine shares with us the best and worst places to keep your toothbrush and prescription meds. Just how dirty is your kitchen sink? The lowdown on public restrooms. Check out the May issue of Prevention for more healthy living tips and just how much better for you organic fruits and veggies really are. Tips for cutting fat in recipes. Dennis Quaid up in arms about kids being hurt by drug errors

Hour 3
Max defines MVNO and says it's unlikely we'll see Apple phone service any time soon. He doesn't like all-encompassing iPhones cases because he can't use his dock. FCC approves emergency alert by text message. Parents get text messages about lice. IBM says they have the fasted processor on the planet. A gorgeous hybrid sports car (check in out - http://www.engadget.com/2008/03/14/fisker-karma-hybrid-sports-car-to-generate-motor-noise-through-e/) that generates your choice of engine noise. Max rants about reusable post-it notes being a bio-hazard. Building a Rube Goldberg burger in 156 steps doesn't mean you'll get it to order.
