Ten Little Idols and a Boatload of Tech

The ax falls for the first time on the Top 10 tonight... Sandy Deane, television editor at AOL, joins us for American Idol Wednesday, to share her thoughts on this week's performances. It's a mixed bag again this week - we share our surprises and disappointments, and Uncle Paul weighs in with his. We answer your tech questions, Max educates us on colors and networks, and sneaks in a quick rant about WiFi health concerns.

Want to share your thoughts on American Idol or have a question for Sandy? Call us at 800-39-ONLINE or email radio@onlinetonight.com and we'll address your questions or comments on the air next Wednesday. Don't forget to let us know by email if you want a free Online Tonight bumper sticker, and we'll get you the instructions on how to do that.

Hour 1
Sandy Deane from AOL TV joins us to chat about this week's American Idol. Although Ramiele has looked the same since she was a baby, she hasn't seemed to find her singing niche. Randy seemed cranky this week. Syesha ballad - good, Chikezie ballad - boring. Max offers his opinion of Brook's looks. Michael made Queen his own. What happened to Carly's curly hair? Nobody knew David A.'s song. Kristy Lee still in Sandy's bottom three. And Sandy finally gets past the comb-over. Uncle Paul agrees with Sandy on Michael Johns and David Cook, and with all of us on who picked David A.'s song. Don't forget to check out the poll at tv.aol.com.

Hour 2
A listener question about getting a ZoneAlarm update. New 3G iPhone coming this summer? How to make your iMac portable. Remember black and white computers? Max explains dithering and why Apple got sued over claiming you could see millions of colors on their displays. New space tourism vehicles coming. A city declines free WiFi because of health concerns. Max explains how citywide WiFi usually works and rants about how idiotic it is for a town to claim a wireless network will be worse that what's already bombarding people in their homes. Amazon now #2 for online downloads, after iTunes. Sold! The cornflake shaped like Illinois is no longer on the market.
